Beli Batik (Buy Batik) has a range of modernised products that appeal to international audiences whilst providing an educational experience on the craft behind it. It specifically focuses on the Indonesian tradition and techniques.

The batik technique involves sketching patterns on a prepared cloth with hot wax. This wax will then prevent colour absorption during the dyeing process, creating a patterned negative once it is removed.

The plan for this space is focused primarily on education. This is because while Batik is an art and tradition practiced and appreciated locally, it lacks recognition in international spaces.
